Our School Name 

 

Nau is pronounced the same as "now".

The school is named after the family who previously occupied the property on which the school will be built.  Mr. and Mrs. Rithy Nau, are Cambodian refugees, who escaped the “Killing Fields” of Cambodia to find a new life in America.  They have been, and continue to be, active members of the Port St. Lucie community.  The school site, their former home, was the site of many community gatherings, attracting visitors from Port St. Lucie and far beyond.  Mr. and Mrs. Nau are very pleased to be able to provide the site for the neighborhood school in their community.  They remain active in all issues related to the school.
