ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL 

ARRIVAL

Students may not arrive on campus before 7:45 a.m. unless a parent is signing them into Morning Care.

During the regular morning arrival, parents must keep their children in their cars until school staff are present at 7:45 a.m. and the arrival line begins.   A teacher must be in the classroom before a student may enter the room.  All students are to be in their seats, prepared for class, by the times indicated below.

If parents have business in the office in the morning, we ask that they drop off their students first, then park and enter the building.

Class Begins:

Kindergarten through Second Grades…………………………8:00 a.m.

Third through Fifth Grades……………………………………….…8:15 a.m.

Sixth through Eighth Grades…………………………………….….8:30 a.m.

 

DISMISSAL

All students not enrolled in extended care will be brought to the designated pick-up location at the assigned times as listed below. 

Each family will be assigned a highly visible card containing the number of the driver’s student.  These cards will be suspended from the rear view mirror of each car.

Parents who must pick up students who are dismissed at different times, please plan to arrive for the latest dismissal time.  Younger siblings will remain supervised until older siblings are dismissed.

Parents are not to park, get out of their cars, or conference with teachers during times of student dismissal.  If a parent needs to stop in the office, they will be expected to pick up their child first, then park and enter the building.

If you must pick up your child earlier than the noted dismissal times, they must be picked up no later than 1:30 p.m.  No students will be dismissed between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Please note that the City of Port St. Lucie has prohibited parking on adjacent streets where signs are posted.  Tickets will be issued!

 

Dismissal Times:

Kindergarten through Second Grade……………………………2:30 p.m.

Third through Fifth Grades…………………………………..………2:45 p.m.

Sixth through Eighth Grades………………………………………..3:00 p.m.
